As part of an international team of Product Line Manager, as an extension
of my previous role as Distinguished Systems Engineer, I am focus on the
definition of new Video products around Android TV platform.
In particular I am actively working on:

• Define of Android TV proof of concepts based on closed relationship with
  Google regarding new Android TV Operator Tier features. In this context, a
  POC with Google TV subatomic on a low ram device has been done.
• Ensure Google policies (inc. Letter upgrade and Security patch) are properly
  implemented across deployed products (>12M active units).
• Maintain Android TV requirements database (Jira) across product lines
  (Broadcom, Amlogic or Synaptic CPU based)
• Coordinate Android TV migration support with commercial and development

With the acquisition of CommScope Home Networks business by Vantiva, I
have worked with my pairs to align CommScope technical requirements assets
and reladed processes with Vantiva way of working. In particular, I have:

• Moved bootloader and downloader in Jira database

• Took over the management of software Android TV device requirement
  database for new platform
• Profiled and customised product technical requirements for new Android
  TV 14 STB operator product with custom launcher and Voice assistant (Big
  European telco)

As part of an international team of Systems Engineer, I was responsible of
technical specifications of various Set-Top-Box products. In particular, I have:

• Defined Software technical requirements for many Android TV Broadcom
  based UHD/4K STB operator device models (incl. Orange TV Box, Telenor
  Sweden Mediahubb, SK Broadband B TV Smart 2). For Orange TV Box in
  particular, I have closely collaborated with Orange Security group to make sure
  that the product is aligned with Orange Security Book of requirements before
  and after deployment.
• Led integration of security requirements of Nagra and ViaccessOrca
  Conditional Access providers in Android TV context
• Coordinated with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers,
  software developers, and QA.
• Assisted project team to make sure that STB design and implementation are
  aligned with customer expectation.
• Supported commercial team for RFQ/RFPs
  CommScope Home Networks division was taken over by Vantiva
  Technologies in January 2024.

As part of an international team of Systems Engineer, I was responsible of
technical specifications of various Set-Top-Box products. In particular, I have:

• Defined Software technical requirement for OpenTV 5 based UHD/4K STB
  operator device models.

• Led integration of security requirements of Nagravision Conditional Access
  Provider.
• Led integration of Arris assigned work packages for COGNITUS Horizon
  2020 research project (EU fundings) by delivering functional UHD STB
  prototype with proper SW support.
• Coordinated with cross-functional teams, including hardware engineers,
  software developers, and QA.
• Assisted project team to make sure that STB design and implementation are
  aligned with customer expectation.
  ARRIS was taken over by CommScope in April 2019.

As part of an R&D local development site, I was leading SW architecture
related task around Set-Top-Box devices. In particular I have:

• Led internal STB SW generic architecture and technical specifications based
  on OpenTV 2 or RDK-V middleware with Nagravision Conditional Access.
• Supported project teams for customer specific SW changes needed for
  successful deployment in Europe and LATAM operator networks
  Pace was taken over by ARRIS in January 2016.

As part of an R&D local development site, I was leading SW architecture
related task around Set-Top-Box devices. In particular I have:

• Defined modular SW architecture of Philips High End platform STB platforms
  based on STMicroelectronics CPU.
• Contributed to several European research projects including MHP-KDB,
  BLAZE.
  Philips STB division was taken over by Pace in April 2008.

As part of a special R&D team working on MHP software stack, I was leading
technical SW archtiecture and component design around MHP standard for
interactive TV. In particular I have:

• Led modular design of propieraty DVB MHP middleware stack for Philips STB
  devices.

As part of a special advanced development team, I was providing SW
engineering and design support in Java for MHP middleware. In particular, I
have:

• Designed and implemented DVB-SI Software stack for MHP middleware.
